Our "Green Season All Seasons" rates explained :)

HI Frank,

Sorry, I have just seen your message :/

Below is what we send to prospective guests:

Our residents' rates vary on the length of your stay:

for 1 night, it is MK80,500 per person sharing per night

for 2 nights, it is MK72,4500 per person sharing per night

for 3 nights, it is MK64,400 per person sharing per night

For under 12s, it is 50% off our normal rates

For 12 to 18 years old, it is 25% off our normal rates

Until futher notice we are offering our "Green Season All Seasons' - see the poster :)

We also offer a Malawian citizen discount of a further MK8,050 off per adult per night :)

We also offer a social bubble discount. Please ask us for details :)

This is payable in cash at the lodge in Malawi Kwacha.

Please note that our rates are based on the US Dollar and vary according to the exchange rates :)

Sorry we cannot take card payments. If you would like to pay in advance we can send you our bank details.

All our rates include your room with en-suite bathroom, breakfast, lunch AND a fabulous 3 course dinner. Drinks are extra.

Please note that we offer our lunches free to resident guests so we do not offer a reduced rate for breakfast and dinner only - with us there is such a thing as a free lunch :)

In terms of drinks, we serve most things but we only do wine by the glass so if you fancy bringing a bottle of your own, we won't be offended :)

Our check in time is from 12pm onwards on the day of arrival.

Check out time is by 10am on the day of departure.

If you would like to book, we would need to know if either of you have any dietary requirements (allergies, dislikes etc) as we serve a set menu for lunch and dinner.

We would also need to know if you would like lunch on the day you arrive and an approximate time of arrival.

We have no electricity here so all our food is cooked fresh on the day for the number of guests who are booked in :)

As we have no electricity, we kindly ask that you make sure that all electrical equipment is fully charged prior to your arrival (phones, cameras etc).

As for reaching us, if you have not been here before, we highly recommend visiting our website (listed below) to print off our driving directions. Do NOT use Google maps as they do not know the way!!!

Also if you are using GPS, please compare the directions given with the directions on our website to make sure that they match.

Due the nature of our road (it twists and turns a lot along the side of the mountain) we also highly recommend you getting to us before dark.

I think that is it but if you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask, we are happy to help, alternatively, please have a look at our website, or check us out on TripAdvisor :)

Thanks so much and we look forward to hearing back from you very soon.

Have a lovely day
